Charlie is a Melbourne based actor, and a 2014 graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York. In its 86 year history the Playhouse has produced some of the industries finest actors including Eli Wallach, Diane Keaton, Christopher Meloni, Allison Janney and Robert Duvall, to name a few. In New York, Charlie performed at famous Off-Broadway venues Signature Theatre and the Lincoln Centre.

 

His experience is extensive and he has performed at the Arts Centre Melbourne, toured both on regional and national productions (Big Sky Town, Shorter+Sweeter) and appeared in national TVC's as well as a number of film (The Whistleblower) and TV projects (Utopia, Miss Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries). As well as his work as an actor, he is a fight director, teaching at Federation University and amongst others, has worked on projects with The Australian Shakespeare Company, Red Stitch Actors Theatre, and Melbourne Opera. His extensive experience has given him the opportunity to work with the likes of John Wood, Jack Charles, Julie Nihill, Alison Whyte, Rob Sitch and director of Oscar winning best picture "Driving Miss Daisy", Bruce Beresford. 

 

Charlie is also a credited writer and performer with the AACTA nominated creative collective Cameralla and has collaborated on projects for Screen Australia, Tropfest, local and international film festivals, as well as online and commercial content.
